Welcome to the first of the new subscription kits from Crafter’s Companion. This newly renovated craft club will look a little different from the older subscription boxes, but that’s a good thing. The kits will contain different supplies and will feature new techniques. All supplies come in a really cool storage bag which fits in a binder. Each kit now also contains instructions and there are video demo’s available too.

This kit includes over 150 elements and is so much fun because there are lots of options. You can make cards, a memory book, pockets, individual book pages and more. It’s completely up to you what you want to create. This kit includes instructions, a storage envelope, a journaling pen, stamps, dies, templates, die topper sheets, satin ribbons, photo corners, patterned paper, solid colored cardstock, and white cardstock . You can check out the subscription box site for the unboxing and a few demos – Crafters Companion Box site.
Sara Davies, the owner of Crafter’s Companion, always puts together a fun kit that is packed with lots of crafty items and new techniques. My kit was delivered with auto-ship through HSN as always. You can check out Crafter’s Companion website for more information. This kit, as always, is a wonderful bargain. There is a Facebook group that you can join once you subscribe which provides lots of community support and loads of examples; plus, Sara also has a monthly card kit site that you can refer to for demos/project pages.
Besides some glue, tag paper punches, and ink, I didn’t use anything that wasn’t in the kit. For me, the punches made a few things easier. I also used a sanding block on the solid pages for more of an aged look. I highly recommend watching the card demos that Craig Laird posted on the Crafter’s Club site for some fun ideas and tips on how to use the templates. The binding was the trickiest part of the book. Once you make one, you’ll see how easy it is. ‘For glue, I mainly used a combination of tape pen (runner) and I used collall wet glue. I would also recommend the Crafter’s Companion glass mat. It is a true game changer for ink blending. Once you work on a glass surface you will agree!
Below is the memory book I made, and I still have lots more materials from this box to make even more! Let me know which page you like best. I am also adding a quick video showing all the moving parts. I have many other crafty videos out there too, so please check out my YouTube Channel.

I hope you have fun with this kit. Mix and match the stamps and dies for different looks. Let me know if you have any questions, and I would love to see what you create so please feel free to share! Happy Crafting!!
