Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box 53 – Reveal Wheel

What a fun subscription box!! The reveal wheel is an interactive card that you can stamp all sorts of messages in the open windows. You can customize your cards so that your recipients know you made their card just for them! The reveal wheel is really easy to make – I promise. This kit contains stamps, dies, a template to help your wheel spin, ribbons, dew drops, patterned paper, solid cardstock, 18 card blanks and 18 envelopes. You can check out the subscription box site for the unboxing and a few demos – Crafters Companion Box site.

Sara Davies, the owner of Crafter’s Companion, always puts together a fun kit that is packed with lots of crafty items and new techniques. My kit was delivered with auto-ship through HSN as always.  You can check out Crafter’s Companion website for more information.  This kit, as always, is a wonderful bargain. There is a Facebook group that you can join once you subscribe which provides lots of community support and loads of examples; plus, Sara also has a monthly card kit site that you can refer to for demos/project pages.

You will need paper fasteners and some foam tape/glue strips to make your card spin easier. I highly recommend watching the card demos that Craig Laird posted on the CC Box site for step-by-step instructions. Once you make one card the other cards will be super-fast to make. Other than that, you will only need some ink to stamp your sentiments and some glue. For glue, I used a combination of foam tape, tape pen (runner) and I used collall wet glue. I would also recommend the Crafter’s Companion glass mat. It is a true game changer for ink blending. Once you work on a glass surface you will agree!

Here are the cards I made, and I still have lots more materials from this box to make even more cards! Let me know which you like best…

I hope you have fun with this kit. Mix and match the stamps and dies for different looks. Let me know if you have any questions, and I would love to see what you create so please feel free to share! Happy Crafting!!
