When I am making cards for people I try to make something that is relevant to them and not my particular tastes. This month the card kits all had to do with campers and camping life. Now I definitely would not consider myself a camper (unless you include those Girl Scout trips that were forced upon me as a young girl). I don’t like bugs, I don’t like not having a bathroom available with running water and I hate not having the ability to dry my hair (curly hair curse). But, that being said, I do have lots of friends that do. So while I may not have thought to buy these sets for myself, I am glad I have them to use for others that really love camping life.
The monthly stamp and die set is called camper2stamp (and dies) and features lots of cute camper and camping life themed stamps and dies. Also this month there were lots of new items released including taco, sombrero, and pinata fold-its, a family word fold-it, a slimline band-aid fold-it, and more. Check out the Stamps of Life website. You won’t want to miss them!
The monthly card kit is called “Enjoy Today” and of course it coordinates perfectly with all of the monthly sets. This kit contains stamps, ribbon, puffy bear and outdoor stickers, epoxy dots/shapes, a fun 6×9 patterned paper pad, cardstock, envelopes, a storage envelope and an “Enjoy Today” die and shadow die in a really fun font. On top of all of that, this kit includes a Bracket Tag Die set with a few smaller dies to match!! Can you believe that! This really adds to the overall value of the kit. This month also included a FREE Spectrumnoir Metallic Marker! So cool! The cardstock in the kit matches everything and features the following colors: Strawberry (2), Midnight, Twig, Artichoke(2), Gingersnap, Chocolate, and Powdered Sugar. All items can be found on the Stamps of Life website.
Here are some cards I made with this months sets. I had so much fun with these cards and I have lots of ideas for a few more!
I hope you enjoy these stamp and die sets and remember you can use them in so many ways by changing up the paper, inks and of course what you combine them with. I would love it if you shared your projects! Thanks for joining me! Happy Crafting!
