Yes I am posting the November kit on December 31…. due to all of the shipping delays, I didn’t receive this kit until late December. It’s all good, eventually things will all catch up. Trust me I am not short of craft supplies in the meantime (I don’t know any crafter that is!!). This is such a different kit that gives you lots of options. The kit is called “ribbon threading dies” and that is just what it is. The two main dies are so unique because you run ribbon through them (weave them) and the look is just so different. These dies are so versatile because you can mix and match in so many ways. You can use the edge dies singularly to cut the outside edge (left or right), use the two outer dies without the inner dies to make banner type die cuts, you can use all of the dies together, and then you can use them to either cut into cards directly or you can use them as separate die cuts. You can check out the subscription box site for the unboxing and a few demos – Crafters Companion Box site. This pretty purple box contains over 95 elements including metal dies, clear acrylic stamps, card blanks, envelopes, different colored ribbon in several sizes and lots of beautiful colored and patterned papers.
Sara Davies, the owner of Crafter’s Companion, always puts together a fun kit that is packed with lots of crafty items and new techniques. My kit was delivered with auto-ship through HSN as always. You can check out Crafter’s Companion website for more information. This kit, as always, is a wonderful bargain. There is a Facebook group that you can join once you subscribe which provides lots of community support and loads of examples; plus, Sara also has a monthly card kit site that you can refer to for demos/project pages.
I really didn’t need to use any additional materials besides some scrap paper for backing behind the sentiments and some ink to stamp the word sentiments. For glue, I used a combination of tape pen (runner), 3D glue gel and I used collall wet glue to raise up a few of the sentiments. I would also recommend the Crafter’s Companion glass mat. It is a true game changer. Once you work on a glass surface you will agree!
Here are a few of the cards I made – let me know which you like best…..

Let me know if you have any questions, and I would love to see what you create too so please feel free to share! Happy Crafting!!
