Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box 37 – June 2021

The latest card kit is all about pop-out characters and it has 2 really fun stamp and die sets but in reality you can mix and match and use the stamps and dies in various ways so you will be able to get a lot of use from this set. The site with the demos has been down but you can check back to see if it has been updated – Crafters Companion Box site. The pretty purple box contains over 210 elements including stamp sets, metal dies, card blanks, envelopes, pearls, ribbons, and lots of beautiful colored and patterned papers. The colors in this set are just gorgeous.

Sara Davies, the owner of Crafter’s Companion, always puts together a fun kit that is packed with lots of crafty items and new techniques. My kit was delivered with auto-ship through HSN as always.  You can check out Crafter’s Companion website for more information.  This kit, as always, is a wonderful bargain. There is a Facebook group that you can join once you subscribe which provides lots of community support and loads of examples; plus, Sara also has a monthly card kit site that you can refer to for demos/project pages.

For stamping, I used the Spectrum Noir quick dry inks and the Harmony Water Reactive inks. I also used the Spectrum Noir Tri-blend markers for all of my coloring. I find they are easy to use and blend colors without having to put much thought into it. CC has an amazing range of coloring products that even a novice can use and look like an artist. For glue, I used a combination of xyron tape, 3D glue gel and I used collall wet glue to raise up a few of the sentiments. I would also recommend the Crafter’s Companion glass mat.  It is a true game changer.  Once you work on a glass surface you will agree!

Here are a few of the cards I made – let me know which you like best…..

For this card I decided not to pop out the bear but instead use it on the card front. I cut out a circle similar in size to the head for the body. I think this turned out really cute and I just love the papers – notice the pearls match perfectly!

Let me know if you have any questions, and I would love to see what you create too so please feel free to share! Happy Crafting!!
