The Stamps of Life January 2021 Stamp, Die Hard and Card Kit Clubs

The January 2021 club stamps, dies and card kit are so much fun and they all match so perfectly. In the month of January, there were also several additional releases that match too! The possibilities are endless and I will definitely be able to use these sets all year long. The stamp and die monthly set is called fishtank2stamp (and dies) and there is a coordinating set of stamps and dies called morefishtank2stamp. The colors in this set are so bright and cheery. In addition to the club sets, the additional releases that coordinate include a new Fish Bowl Fold-It and the Circle Bubble Slimline panel. There are lots of other great items that were released this month on the Stamps of Life website; so go check them out – you won’t want to miss them!

The monthly card kit is called “Loving Life” and of course it coordinates beautifully with all of the monthly sets. This kit is filled with envelopes, ribbons, puffy stickers, yellow bows, white epoxy dots, patterned paper, a fun stamp set, the “Loving Life” die and shadow die along with a fish and seahorse die (plus their shadows). And once again, Ken and Stephanie decided to throw in a great surprise – a reusable TSOL tote bag! It’s huge and great for carrying crafts or groceries! So very generous of them!! The best part about this kit is that the patterned paper pad is not the usual 6×6 size but instead it is 6×9 which is perfect for slimline cards!! The cardstock included in the kit matches everything and features the following colors: Poppy, Blueberry, Sky, Grape, Kiwi, Blue Jay, Sunshine, Cloud and Powdered Sugar. This card features the new Fish Bowl Fold-It and the monthly stamp and die set. Such a fun shaped card that can also be used as a flower vase….
I used yupo paper and alcohol ink for the water in the fish tank as well as for the actual fish and starfish. I also added some glitter to the bottom of the tank to make it look like colorful sand – just like in a real tank. The sentiments in this set are very “punny” too!
It’s hard to tell, but this patterned paper had a white background so I decided to add some blue, green and purple inks to give it more of an ocean feel. I also added shimmer sparkle spray but I am not sure it shows up too well in this picture. I also used the circle bubble slimline because it fit so well with this theme.
I just love the turtle pages in this paper pad. So fun! And of course – just keep swimming is the perfect sentiment. The 6×9 paper pad is perfect for the slimline card panels.
This is my favorite – I used the center step card die and cut a square into the center. I layered some acetate and made a stitched frame to go around the opening. I added the sentiment to the inside so that you could see it through the window. I really love the sentiment that came in the card kit too.
