Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box 26 – July 2020

The July kit is all about Decorative Outline Dies. There are so many things you can do with these types of dies. You can use them as silhouettes, use them for shadow dies, add acetate and color the images, the list goes on. Again, I am really sorry this post is so late but my kit was delayed in shipping (probably due to covid as most everything is impacted). In the pretty purple box, you’ll find 200 elements including metal dies, die-cut card blanks, die-cut sentiments, acrylic stamps, colored cardstock, colored velum, envelopes, gems and an embossing folder. Everything in the box coordinates so well too!

Sara Davies, the owner of Crafter’s Companion, always puts together a fun kit that is packed with lots of crafty items and new techniques. My kit was delivered with auto-ship through HSN as always.  You can check out Crafter’s Companion website for more information.  This kit, as always, is a wonderful bargain. There is a Facebook group that you can join once you subscribe which provides lots of community support and loads of examples; plus, Sara also has a monthly card kit site that you can refer to for demos/project pages.

In addition to the kit, I used a few other Crafter’s Companion products. I used my tri-blend markers and harmony inks as well as the sparkle ink pots. CC has an amazing range of coloring products that even a novice can use and look like an artist. For glue, I used a combination of xyron tape, 3D glue gel and I used collall wet glue for most of the projects. I would also recommend the Crafter’s Companion glass mat.  It is a true game changer.  Once you work on a glass surface you will agree!

Here are a few samples of the cards I made – I hope you get some inspiration from my cards….

The stamps in this set are so beautiful and intricate.
Here are 2 examples of the same outline die with two very different outcomes!
This card was made with sparkle in pots
This card was colored with spectrum noir tri-blend markers
