If there was one die set from Crafter’s Companion that I would say you cannot live without, hands down it would be the Storybook dies! These dies are so well worth the money because you can use them for so many occasions and they make a beautiful keepsake. I have made wedding presents, sympathy remembrances, birthday gifts, and thank you gifts with this set.
In total, there are 9 dies in this set, but the three main “book” dies and the “stand” die are really all you need to get started. You can mix and match the book to whatever theme you want.
Here are a few tips…. I usually run the stand die through two times on thick cardstock and glue both pieces together to make a sturdier stand. You want the book to be able to stand alone on a mantle or table because the person receiving this will definitely want to display it! I also recommend shaping the 3 pages so they have a curved look. Lastly, I highly recommend using 3D glue gel in between the layers to give added dimension. You can also use glue dots in between if that works better for you.
You can check out the Crafter’s Companion website for more information on this die set and for tons of other stamps, dies, special offers, inspiration and so much more. Here are some of the storybook keepsakes I have made ……

I hope you enjoyed my creations and this gives you some inspiration to create your own storybook keepsake. Please let me know if you have any questions and I would love to see what you create, so please feel free to share!
Happy Crafting!!
