Crafter’s Companion Subscription Box 22 – March 2020

If you love color and sparkle this will absolutely be your favorite card kit yet! This month’s kit is called Sparkle in a Jar! In the pretty purple box, you’ll find four pots of the most sparkly liquid inks you have ever seen. There are 3 luscious colors, and a clear sparkle pot. When you combine colors, it gives you more opportunities to make additional beautiful colors. Let’s take a look at what else is in this month’s kit…

Sara Davies, the owner of Crafter’s Companion, has put together a really amazing kit. The March kit includes 130 elements in total which include 4 sparkle ink pots, 27 clear acrylic stamps, 16 card blanks in various sizes along with 16 matching envelopes, 18 die-cut sentiments, 12 sheets of colored cardstock, 12 water resist cards, 24 water color cards, 4 pipettes, and a water spritzer! The quality of the watercolor card is really impressive. My kit was delivered with auto-ship through HSN as always.  You can check out Crafter’s Companion website for more information.  This kit is a wonderful bargain. Each kit offers different items and will show you new techniques.

There is a Facebook group that you can join once you subscribe which provides lots of community support and loads of examples; plus, Sara also has a monthly card kit site that you can refer to for demos/project pages.

In addition to what was included in this kit, I did use a few extra items. I used one of my favorite cut and emboss frames, black color cardstock from CC, the “wild” peek-a-boo dies along with a few circle dies. I used Spectrum Noir ink pads for some of the stamping (mostly the Harmony Inks). For glue, I used a combination of xyron tape, foam pads to add dimension, and I also used collall wet glue for most of the projects. I would also recommend the Crafter’s Companion glass mat.  It is a true game changer.  Once you work on a glass surface you will agree!

I made 8 cards very quickly and I know I will be making more soon. Take a look and let me know which is your favorite!

The bright colors in this kit will truly amaze you. As I mentioned above, try mixing colors for a larger color palette.

Let me know if you have any questions. I would love to see what you create too so please feel free to share! Happy Crafting!!
