X-Cards Are Awesome!

I am in love with these new card bases from Lori Whitlock for Sizzix.  I used 2 of the available styles to make these cards (5 styles in all I think).  The great thing about the x-cards is that you can swap out the inside shape for any style that fits with the theme of your card (ie Birthday, Wedding, Get Well, etc.).

As you can see from the pics above, I decorated each side so that no matter which angle you looked at, you would see something different. The inside shapes also have a lot of movement since they are suspended with a string running through them.   The cards fold flat and fit in a regular A2 envelope.  Some of the other dies used to complete these cards came from Spellbinders, Darice, Taylored Expressions, and  Stephanie Barnard with the Stamps of Life for Sizzix.  I also used heavy weight mirror cardstock and glitter cardstock from Crafter’s Companion.  I HIGHLY recommend their paper!!

I think these card styles have a real WOW factor.  The possibilities are endless with these dies and the receiver will surely be amazed at how cool these cards are!
